Crowns are a type of dental restoration where a tooth-shaped "cap" fully encases the entire visible portion of a tooth. Crowns may be needed for the following situations: weakness of a tooth (due to decay), to support a tooth where a large filling is present (50% or more of the tooth has filling in it), to hold a dental bridge in place, to cover a dental implant, to repair an already broken or severly worn down tooth, or simply to improve the cosmetic appearance of the smile.

Simon Dentistry uses All-Zirconia crowns, which provide the most natural color match than any other crown type, but with the strength of gold. All-Zirconia crowns are cosmetically appealing, and are ideal as well, because of their chip-proof duribility.

Our ultimate goal is to improve the overall esthetics of our patient by whitening, straightening, strengthening, and re-contouring the teeth.
